Abrazo Heath Care Facility Ranked Among Highest in Nation for
Patient Care and Hospital Safety
PHOENIX (June 20, 2012) – Abrazo Health Care announces today that Arrowhead Hospital has been recognized as top performing hospitals in the Hospital Safety Score program by the Leapfrog Group with an “’A” grade for its improvement of patient care and hospital safety standards.
This prestigious award is based upon a comparative performance score of more than 2,600 hospitals nationwide. Taken into consideration are the number of patient injuries, medical and medication errors and infections. Hospitals were assigned an A, B, C, D, or F based on numbers tabulated for their safety.
