RIO® is a highly advanced, surgeon-controlled robotic arm system that enables the accurate alignment and positioning of implants. Orthopedic surgeons at Arrowhead Hospital, are scheduled to perform the first MAKOplasty® Total Hip Arthroplasty (THA) at the hospital on Wednesday, January 18, 2013.
