• Sending Gifts - Where to send gifts and packages

  If you can't get to the hospital yourself, a gift or card is a great way to brighten a patient's day. Send envelopes and packages for patients to:

  Please include the patient's name on the delivery instructions.

  Note: If patients are identified to be at risk for allergic reactions, flowers will be kept at the nurse's station or sent home with a family member.

• Visiting Hours - hours of visitation by area

  Arizona Heart Hospital makes every attempt to accommodate visitors during the hours detailed below. Please call the hospital at (602) 532-1000 before you visit, to make sure the person you wish to see is in a condition to receive visitors.

  In consideration of our patients, visitors are limited to two at a time in most areas. Large groups may wait in the main lobby. Adults and children with infectious illnesses, or who've recently been exposed to an infectious disease, should not visit patients.

• Overnight Guests

  Patient rooms can accommodate one visitor overnight, who must be capable of self-care and be responsible for his or her own valuables. No overnight accommodations are available for visitors in PACU or the Emergency Department.

• Visitors Services - Concierge, nurse

  The hospital Concierge is available in the main lobby from 5:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, and from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on weekends. The Concierge can be reached by phone at (602) 532-1025.

  Please contact the Concierge for help with:

  • In-house pagers when the person you're visiting is undergoing a procedure or in recovery
  • Restaurant, shopping, and hotel recommendations
  • Sending gifts to a patient

  Contact a nurse, or other staff member, for help with:

  • Lost & Found
  • Notary Public
  • Translation and sign language services
  • Wheelchairs
  • TDD equipment

• Smoke and Tobacco-Free Starting January 1, 2011

  Because tobacco creates a serious health hazard for our employees, patients, visitors and the community, we ask that you refrain from smoking or using tobacco products while at an Abrazo facility. If you choose to smoke or use tobacco while on an Abrazo campus, you will be asked to discontinue use immediately.
  
  We do offer sugar-free gum and hard candy with our compliments, to make visiting an Abrazo facility more comfortable for those who require a tobacco substitute. Please see Security or the reception desk to request one of these items.
