Arizona Heart Foundation Offers FREE Public Forum on Your Cardiovascular Health, Feb. 15 at The Phoenician in Scottsdale
Features Live Viewing of Surgical Procedures that are Transforming Cardiovascular Care
PHOENIX (Jan. 31, 2011) — Arizona Heart Foundation presents the 24th Annual Public Forum showcasing a live high-definition telecast of the latest surgical treatments for heart and blood vessel disease. During this interactive event, Dr. Edward B. Diethrich, world-renowned cardiovascular surgeon and founder of Arizona Heart Institute, and colleagues will demonstrate several pioneering procedures broadcast from Arizona Heart Hospital, explain these new techniques and answer questions from the audience.
The 24th Annual Public Forum on Cardiovascular Disease will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 15 at the Phoenician in Scottsdale, 6000 E. Camelback Rd. The free multi-media event is from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Guests are also invited to attend the cardiovascular health fair held prior to the live demonstrations beginning at 6:15 p.m. Blood pressure checks, body fat testing and educational information on many cardiovascular subjects ranging from women and heart disease to aneurysms will be offered. Featured at the health fair are an “Ask a Nurse” and an “Ask a Pharmacist” table where attendees can pose questions about their cardiovascular health and medications.
Each year, Public Forum consistently attracts over 750 attendees which is a testimony to the public’s interest in this significant area. Be apart of this tradition!
