ARIZONA HEART HOSPITAL NOW OFFERS
FULL-SERVICE EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT
Board-certified Emergency Medicine doctors prepared to care for any emergency
PHOENIX (Jan. 17, 2011) — For the past 13 years, Arizona Heart Hospital, a campus of Phoenix Baptist Hospital, has provided specialized cardiovascular care to Valley residents. Arizona Heart Hospital had previously held a designation as a cardiovascular Emergency Center. Beginning today, the hospital has become a full-service Emergency Center, staffed with board certified emergency medicine physicians available 24 hours, seven days a week, and is able to accept patients when any emergent need arises, not just limited to cardiovascular care.
On Oct. 1, 2010, Arizona Heart Hospital was acquired by Abrazo Health Care, and became a campus of Phoenix Baptist Hospital.
“This alignment is exciting for all of our patients, employees and physician partners, as we now have the shared resources with a larger and broader focused hospital to fully support any type of patient that presents in our Emergency Center, whether if be for cardiovascular care or for a small injury such as a broken bone,” said Jeff Egbert, chief executive officer, Arizona Heart Hospital. “As a proud PCI Accredited Chest Pain Center, we are still able to deliver on our promise of unparalleled care of patients in a cardiovascular emergency while expanding our level of care.”
