Why West Valley Emergency Center?

West Valley Emergency Center (WVEC) will offer 24-hour medical care and is staffed by board certified physicians, specialty nurses and experienced health professionals. Additionally, CT scans, ultrasound and other diagnostic imaging services are available along with an on-site laboratory. West Valley Emergency Center is operated by West Valley Hospital, located just 13 miles away in Goodyear.

WVEC will occupy 12,000-square-feet with an additional 8,000-square-feet dedicated to imaging and laboratory services. The second floor will add an additional 20,000 square feet to be used for physician office space.

The concept of a stand-alone emergency center was designed to alleviate some of the tremendous need for emergency care in the south west Valley, including highly populated outlying areas. As an extension of West Valley Hospital, patients will experience a seamless integration of services and care between the hospital and the Emergency Center. Many of the communities that are further west of the hospital do not have immediate access to emergency medical services. West Valley Emergency Center will fulfill this vital need for the residents and visitors of Buckeye as well as its neighboring communities.
